Developmental Disability Services (DD Waiver)
Metnurse Health Services, Inc. provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or closely related developmental disabilities under two Medicaid Home and Community Based Waivers known as the Comprehensive Supports Waiver Program (COMP) and the New Options Waiver Program (NOW). Metnurse CLA also provides Community Residential Services (CRA). Community Residential Services (CRA) is an individualized service in a structured home setting with 24-hours supervision. CRA homes are designed to provide the comfort of a home setting and care provided by direct support staff and one or three other roommates. Everyone receives individual structured services based on their Individual Structured Plan (ISP), and all services are under monthly supervision and oversight by a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Developmental Disability Professional (DDP). Metnurse Health Services provides Community Living Support services for individuals with developmental disabilities who, if given assistance, can reside in their own homes. With assistance given by a direct support professional, these individuals can become active members of the community. Our goal is to provide quality of life and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in pursuit of developing life skills, interests, and maximum independence.
